Overview
S50 is a premium grade, multi-purpose, acrylic latex sealant. The addition of silicone polymer provides greater flexibility than other latex products. For best results, apply above 40deg F to reduce possible frost in joints. The product is engineered to provide excellent adhesion to vinyl, aluminum, wood, sheet metal, and most common building materials, without the need of a primer. S50 is ideal for use in the installation of windows, doors, trim work, tubs, sink stops, thresholds, and baseboards. As well as interior sealing of cultured marble and tile. Installers prefer it because the product cures rapidly to form a durable, tight, bond.
Material/Construction
Meets ASTM C-834, Cure Rate: 1/4" bead per 24 hrs, VOC: <30 g/L less water and exempt solvents, Staining: None, Sag: None

Surface Preparation
The substrate must be clean, dry, frost-free, sound, and free of any oils, greases, incompatible sealers, paints, or coatings that may interfere with adhesion. Do not apply if surface is damp or contaminated. It is recommended to test all substrates prior to applications.
How to Use
For best results, ensure surface is clean. Cut nozzle to desired bead size, puncture inner seal. Apply with a caulking gun, forcing sealant onto the substrate, then tool if needed. Use backer rod or bond breaker tape to control and prevent three sided adhesion. Sealant thickness not to exceed 1/2". Sealant is ready to paint within two hours. Protect from water for 72 hours. During application clean excess material with water.
Prevention
Wash face, hands and any exposed skin thoroughly after handling. Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like protective gloves, protective clothing, and face protection. Wear eye/face protection.
